The Nest is a unique lodging experience which combines quirky and normal all in the same location. My home was purchased in 2004 while still working and living in Dallas. After I retired from 45 years in the grocery business I made my way to paradise in 2013. I immediately started making lots of changes to the property. Last year a new project began. Eureka Springs is among the top 10 wedding destinations in the US. I had this idea to build on the property a small wedding venue for those that do not want a large service. It can also serve as a retreat venue as well or just a great place to gather to sit and enjoy our many beautiful sunsets over the mountains.
We are located on Highway 62 at Inspiration Point in Eureka West and 6 miles from the town of Eureka Springs, 5 minutes from Beaver Lake and the White River where fishing is superb and approximately 35 minutes from Rogers, Arkansas. We are also located between The famous "Opera Of The Ozarks" and the "Eureka Springs School Of The Arts" (ESSA) where you can take any kind of class imaginable. The Opera has just finished completion of its new grand building. It is in walking distance from the lodging.
The quiet peace and serenity felt here at 188 Ozark Automotive Road prompted us to want to share with others the experience of living here. "The Nest" is a completely remodeled downstairs area with themed rooms. Three bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, full kitchen ( minus dishwasher) full coffee bar with furnished coffee and assorted teas, and dining area. Two private decks are available, one overlooking the newly built large pond that will house lots of Koi. You might choose to relax in the 2 person jacuzzi located in The Nest bedroom and watch the spectacular sunsets that we experience here and will surely catch the deer and or fox grazing below the 4 picturesque windows overlooking the Ozark Mountains. The Nest sleeps up to 10 people, so if you are wanting to just get away from the hustle and bustle of the fast paced life for a weekend, looking for a place to have that scrapbook retreat, or any kind of retreat, ladies night out, gentleman's fishing trip( and we know an excellent guide) or that special place to get married and honeymoon....come home to "The Nest".
